One of my friends has been in a hiring process for a junior sales position with Microsoft France. He went through 12 interviews with reasonnable success as each time he was invited to come back for the next one. However, the 13th interview failed and he was not hired.
According to this last person he met, he does not have the appropriate corporate culture to fit MS. I was told that in a MS hiring process, anyone who has a reasonable doubt about a candidate can interupt the hire.
What a luxury it is for a company to run 13 interviews for a junior position and disregard a candidate which had been approved through the first 12 meetings.
