This is not American Graffiti….and it is a french initiative. Kazados.tv opened in Beta on June 11th and will be launched in September 2007. The concept is to bring TV for teenagers on the web. Teens (12-16) are more interested by their computers, games stations or other new toys than by traditional media. However, they remain highly attracted by the television programs : sports, music, movies, fashion, games etc. The programs are developed by and with teens who are the real stars. Teens are targetted by a number of initiatives. So it comes as no surprise that Kazados’ business model includes advertsing, premium services, content sales and e-commerce.
Armelle de The and Isabelle de Crecy, two media professionals with heavy track records in TV and communication, developed Kazados.TV over the past 6 months and supported by friendly money. They are looking for € 4 million in venture capital by the end of the year.
