Jean-Michel’s weblog header says : “Vivement my retirement”. But let it be no misunderstanding. This guy will never retire and, like Moliere, die in front of a keyboard, or on stage giving a conference. His bio is impressive. Jean-Michel has been a driving force behind Minitel, , often considered as the “french internet before the web” by its reach and by revenus generated. He has also been behind l’Atelier, which is to the New technologies in France what the Andy Wharol’s Factory was to New York in the 60’s. He lobbyies strongly for “high speed braodband” accross the country, wanting to make France as the worldwide leader, spearheading the Pau Broadband Project. He has one of the leading weblog in technology and tells us about his new one in nanotechnologies which he considers a true revolution. He is a keen observer of the French market dynamics, meets 5 to 10 entrepreneurs per week, gives conferences, organizes business travels (next one in the Valley).
The interview is in French; the post in english for US friends.
Please notice the “decor” which is by now anthology. It’s JMB’s own set!
